Filming eight tribute bands in three days was a blast. Almost everyone from Arena took a turn at shooting and when John Campbell was up on stage, we glanced at each other in disbelief as he went so deftly and with such brio from The Star Spangled Banner into Purple Haze. We were buzzing for hours afterwards every night. Anthony Wall, the series editor, claimed he'd never had such a good time working on anything!
